Configure Mediasite Rooms and Record Now

Record Now is a web application, included with Mediasite, that is launched from a Podium PC. When users launch Record Now, they select a recording type based on a room’s recording capability and their presentation needs without any concern for the recording device being used. Once the recording is complete, it is automatically uploaded and can be managed in the user’s private folder in My Mediasite.

Since Record Now provides a consistent way to start and stop a room’s recording devices from a Podium PC, it is a great alternative to creating custom AV modules for your hardware Recorders.
