Mediasite Configuration Guide
You use Mediasite to record, edit, organize, publish and integrate your organization’s most essential video content. You use Management Portal to configure and secure Mediasite Video Platform and set up workflows that allow your users to create, aggregate, publish, and share their content.
The Mediasite Configuration Guide provides detailed instructions for configuring Mediasite Video Platform as well as managing and securing the system.
In this guide, we also refer to Mediasite Video Platform as Mediasite Platform or simply Mediasite.
Audience
Administrators and power users responsible for configuring, securing, and managing Mediasite Platform should have a solid background in all the technologies mentioned in this guide.
Without this background, we strongly advise you to find a more qualified IT professional to set up Mediasite. All other users, at minimum, should have experience using web-based applications.
