Microsoft AD LDS, Microsoft ADAM,
Microsoft SQL Server, and media servers are not included with Mediasite Video
Platform software.
Mediasite deployments include the core components shown in the table below. As you prepare for your deployment, it is important to know the system requirements and critical resources required to ensure optimal performance.

Secures and manages Mediasite Video Platform. Used by system administrators only. |

Mediasite Deliver |
Creates live publishing points on the media server and communicates with Mediasite Video Platform and the media server to stream live and on-demand video. Mediasite Deliver uses Mediasite Deliver Streaming Service (MDSS) to stream content. |
