Show Live Preview

Live Preview is a dedicated mini-window that stays on top of your other apps, so you can check that you’re still in frame and not muted while presenting, and easily access the recording toolbar.

Note

  • If you are recording your entire screen, the preview window is visible to your audience. We recommend that you move the live preview into a corner or to a second monitor so it doesn't block your content.
  • If you are recording a specific tab or window, the preview window is invisible to your audience.
To show Live Preview:
  1. On the Record page, click Show Live Preview near the top right.

  1. To move Live Preview, drag it to the required location.
  2. When you are ready, click Record . A countdown timer counts from 3-2-1 and then begins recording.
  3. While recording, you can pause, resume, and stop recording. You can also mute or unmute your microphone as needed.

  1. Next review and trim the recording.
