To record a video conference call, you will add Join as a call participant. Mediasite Join functions as a passive participant during your call, capturing content from other participants throughout the call’s duration.
Overview of a Join conference call scenario
You can capture call for on-demand viewing using Join or Recorder software. You will stream conference calls live using Recorder software. The Join Appliance can capture calls lasting up to eight hours.
You will specify the Join Appliance’s IP address and a call string to add Join to a call. The call string format you use to add Join to a call will vary by vendor, whether you are using Join or the Recorder software to record the call, or if you are using Join Live. Before you begin adding strings, make sure you are using the correct call string.
