Record on-demand presentations

On-demand presentations are presentations that have been published to Mediasite and are available to users via a distributed URL or in a Mediasite channel―an online, searchable video collection.

To record an on-demand presentation that will be available for viewing online:

1.  Create or schedule a presentation on your Mediasite.

2.  Connect capture devices to the Recorder.

3.  Select input devices in the Recorder interface.

4.  Connect Recorder to the network. Typically, the RL Recorder will already be connected to a network.

5.  Connect your Recorder to Mediasite. If you do not know the credentials, contact your Mediasite administrator.

6.  Open the presentation and begin recording.

7.  Depending on the presentation settings, the presentation may be automatically published to Mediasite once recording has completed. Otherwise, you can publish the presentation to Mediasite from the Recorder.
