When assigning permissions to resources on Mediasite, you can set system policies—default permissions—for system components, assign permissions to a component or presentation directly using either the item’s properties page or a role’s properties page, or copy permissions from another role including built-in roles. You can also reset a folder or presentation’s permissions to those of the parent folder and change ownership of a system component or presentation.
When assigning permissions, deny
entries take precedence over allow entries. If a user is a member of two groups,
one that is allowed permission to a resource and another that is denied
permission to the same resource, the user is denied the permission.
