System settings
To customize Mediasite Capture's settings, select
System Menu > Settings at the top right of the app.
Language
Mediasite Capture automatically detects your preferred language based on your browser settings.
To change the default language:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Language section, select your preferred language in the list.
Upload while Recording
Uploading while recording speeds up the publishing process. If you have a slow internet connection, you may want to disable this.
To disable uploading while recording:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Upload while Recording section, turn off the control.
Stop Recording Confirmation
Mediasite Capture displays a confirmation prompt before ending your recording to prevent accidental stops.
To disable the stop recording confirmation:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Stop Recording Confirmation section, turn off the control.
Appearance
Mediasite Capture automatically uses your browser's appearance settings.
To change the default appearance:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Appearance section, select one of the following.

Quality
Mediasite Capture automatically detects the best recording quality for your hardware.
To change the default recording quality:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Quality section, select the maximum resolution that your inputs will be recorded at.

Caution Manually increasing quality may cause choppy video and audio or failed recordings. Please use at your own risk. |

Note Recording at a higher resolution may still produce a published recording of lower quality if the Mediasite Administrator sets a maximum recording quality for published presentations. |
Background Noise Removal Levels
You can tune the suppression strength used by the Subtle and Strong profiles (0-100). See Adjust your microphone.
To change the background noise removal levels:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Background Noise Removal Levels section, enter the Subtle level and Strong level values.
Download Logs

Note Application logs contain technical details about the app's performance and may contain private or sensitive data. Only share them with trusted Support. |
To download logs:
- Select
System Menu > Settings. - On the Settings System page, in the Download Logs section, click Download.
