You can select an NDI (Network Device Interface) device connected through a network as your video or image input device. Select this option to use video capture devices that support the NDI protocol.
NDI devices have wireless connectivity and are automatically discovered on a network. The scalability and flexibility of the NDI protocol makes it useful for pushing video across a network without the need for expensive infrastructure.
NDI devices are only supported on RL900 series, ML900 series, and RL220 Recorders. For more information on NDI devices, visit the NDI® Central website.
To add and select an NDI device:
1. Connect your NDI device to the network.
2. Navigate to the Capture tab. Click Inputs to open the list of sources.
3. Once your Recorder detects an NDI device, it automatically appears under NDI Sources.
4. Select the device and route it to an output.
