Securing your site

Mediasite allows you to secure your system by integrating with security or third-party identity providers. The following user stores are supported to allow users to log into Mediasite securely and access resources on it:

•      Mediasite Directory (LDAP)

•      LDAP Directories (Hierarchical and Flat)

•      Active Directory

•      SAML 2.0 Compliant Systems

•      Windows Authentication

Mediasite roles

Roles are used to secure resources on Mediasite. Roles can be mapped to groups and individual users in directories, user profiles, entitlements, or SAML and LTI attributes. Once mapped, roles are assigned permissions to resources.
