When users stream live content using RTMP, enable the instant on-demand service so their content will be available to their audience for on-demand viewing. You will use Configuration Editor to enable the instance on-demand service at the server level by adding Deliver endpoints.
To enable the instant on-demand service:
1. Launch Configuration Editor and click Server Settings > Mediasite Deliver.
2. Navigate to Live Instant On Demand Endpoints and specify the following settings:

Service URL |
Mediasite uses this URL to connect to the Deliver service on the media server. The service URL has the following format: https://<mediaserver>/MediaServer/ControlService.svcUpdate Replace <mediaserver> in the URL with your media server’s FQDN or IP address. |

Encryption Key |
Enter the same key specified when configuring Mediasite Deliver on the media server. The encryption key establishes a secure channel for communication between Mediasite and the media server. Click Test to verify you can connect to the service using the values specified for the Service URL and encryption key. |
The Service URL and encryption key that
you specify here will be the same as those specified when creating a live RTMP
