Navigate channels

On a channel’s home page, you can use the search feature or browse through the presentations to find the one you want.

The following table explains how to browse videos on the home page.

Click the Channel title to return to the channel homepage.

Click Settings and select one of the following items from the drop-down list:

  • Theme - to change your Mediasite Channel Theme colour to Light, Dark, or High Contrast Mode.
  • Font - to change your Mediasite Channel font from Default to OpenDyslexic.
  • Account - to select My Mediasite to open your personal My Mediasite portal. Here you can manage, edit and publish presentations. Select Help to open the Mediasite documentation site.

Navigate the channel by page using the page number selector at the bottom of the channel.

Select a sort option from the drop-down menu. The options available depend on how your system is configured. These options can include; Most Recent, Oldest, Title A-Z, Title Z-A, Most Viewed and Least Viewed.

Presentation details:

  • The Title is displayed directly under the presentation Thumbnail. Click on the title to launch the presentation in a full-screen player, or share it with others.
  • The Views counter can be seen directly under the title. This shows the number of views this presentation has. This counter might not be visible depending on the Channel Owner’s preferences.
  • The Date of the presentation can be seen directly under the title. This date view might not be visible depending on the Channel Owner’s preferences.
  • The Duration of a presentation is shown in the lower right corner of the video thumbnail.
  • Click a presentation’s Tags (For example: ) to search for and display all presentations in the channel with the same tag.
  • If there is a Live presentation in the channel, the Live Stream thumbnail is used with the following icon .
