On the Network Settings page, you will view the Recorder’s connection status and update its IP address and other network settings as needed.
To update the Recorder’s network settings:
1. Click Network Settings and specify the following settings:

IP Address mode |
Enter the full path for the publishing location. If you are specifying an external drive, you can just specify the drive, for example, Z:\. |

Dynamic (DHCP) |
Select this option to have the Recorder request IP addresses and networking parameters automatically from a DHCP server. |

Static |
Select this option if you want to set the Recorder’s IP address and networking parameters manually. For each additional IP address, click Add New. |
|
DNS Suffix |
Enter the suffix needed to resolve the Recorder’s machine name, for example, mynetwork.net. |
2. Click Update.

) in the lower-right corner of the Recorder
interface.
