When you stream a video live using RTMP,
the Recorder only sends one video stream.
With the Streaming feature, you can broadcast recordings live to streaming platforms, such as Facebook™ Live or YouTube™ Live. Use streaming to broadcast to a wide audience with minimal setup. If streaming is enabled, you will simultaneously record your presentation to Mediasite and live stream to your platform of choice.
To live stream, you will need a public streaming server URL from your streaming platform and a stream key associated with your account on the platform.

Requirements:
•A stream key
•Stream server URL
•RL220 and RL900/ML900 series Recorders (Other models are not supported)
To configure live streaming:
1. Navigate to Settings tab.
2. Select Streaming then select the Enable Streaming (Beta) checkbox.
3. Enter your streaming account information and click Update:

Enter a stream server URL with an RTMP protocol. This is usually included in a streaming service’s documentation. You will want to choose the closest server to your location to avoid latency issues. |

Enter the stream key associated with your streaming service account. Your stream key can be found under your streaming platform’s account information.

4. Click Go Live to begin streaming.
