Stream weights
Use the tables below to determine which encoding profile to use in respect to a Recorder’s given stream capacity. The numbers below each column represent the stream weight of each bit rate and resolution. Stream weight measures the number of Mediasite compute units needed to encode a stream via the Hardware Recorder.
Cross-reference this stream weight table with the Stream Capacity table above for your respective Recorder model. Stream weights are additive and cannot exceed a Recorder’s stream capacity.
