You will use the Recorder interface, locally or remotely, to configure the Recorder, record presentations, manage recorded presentations, and keep track of your automated recordings (schedules). You will use the Recorder interface’s advanced settings to view and configure system-level settings and to do network diagnostics.
System requirements
When you launch the Recorder interface remotely, your computer must be able to connect to the Recorder’s routable IP address or fully qualified domain-name and use one of the following browsers:
• Chrome: 73.0.3683.75 and later
• Safari: 12.1.1 and later
• Firefox: 68 and later
Considerations when accessing the Recorder interface remotely
Consider the following when using the Recorder interface remotely:
• You can log in as an administrator or operator. You must log in as an administrator to access the advanced settings.
• You can download and launch Mediasite Monitor when using the Recorder interface remotely.
• The video input preview is displayed at a rate of one (1) frame per second. Since there is a delay in what you will see in the Recorder preview windows, we do not recommend using the remote Recorder interface to manually advance images when recording a presentation.
