By default, all Recorders have remote access enabled. However, you can disable and re-enable this feature at any time using the local user interface.
To disable remote access:
1. On your Recorder, launch the local interface using the Mediasite Recorder shortcut and click Remote Access.
2. Select the Disable Remote Access check box.
3. Restart the Recorder application.
4. When you are ready to re-enable remote access, clear the check box. Disabling remote access resets the operator credentials back to the default values, so you will have to update them again.
