Navigate Premier Player

Use the player's controls to seek within or skip back in the presentation, navigate the slides, view supplementary materials, and interact with the presenter.

The following table explains how to use the player's controls.

Control

Description

Play

Click Play to resume playback after pausing the presentation. Presentations automatically start playing when launched.

Click Pause to suspend playback.

Mute

Click Mute to mute or adjust the audio volume.

Viewed/Total

View the amount of presentation viewed/total time.

Adjust Playback Rate

Click Adjust Playback Rate to speed up (up to 2x) or slow down (0.5x) the presentation.

Chapters

Click Chapters to navigate the presentation by chapter.

Captions

Click Captions to view closed captions in the primary content area. You also go here to adjust the caption settings.

Picture in Picture

Click Picture in Picture  to overlay a smaller window with a second video or image in the corner of the primary video or image window. This option is not available when there are more than 2 streams.

Full Screen

Click Full Screen to expand the player so that it fills the entire screen. This feature is disabled if full-screen mode is not supported by the browser or frame.

Seek bar

Use the seek bar to navigate through the presentation quickly. When you hold your mouse over a specific time using the seek bar button, the slide image for that time is displayed over the presentation.

When a gap appears in the timeline, this indicates that you are entering a new chapter. Move your cursor over a chapter to display its title.

Show More

Click Show More ... to view the following settings:

  • Ask a Question - click to send questions to your presenter. When the form appears, enter your name, email address (optional), the subject your question is addressing, and your question. If you do not want to include the time in the presentation where you had a question, clear the Time check box. To send your question, click Ask Question.
  • Downloads - click to download a podcast or video podcast version of this presentation. You only see this button if the feature is enabled, and downloadable content is available.
  • Search - click to search a presentation's slides and closed captions. Enter the word or phrase you are seeking and click Search. Scroll down the search results list and click on a search result to go to the time it appears in the presentation.
  • Show Polls - click to see the presentation's polls. Click Take Poll on the same row as a poll to answer it.
  • Share Presentation - click to copy the presentation’s URL, which you can then share with others.
  • Help - click to view the online help.
  • Info - click to view the presenter information and links to external resources (if available).
