You can adjust how captions appear in the player. When you adjust a setting, you will see the change in the player in real-time. Once you adjust your caption settings, they will remain the same each time you launch the player.
To adjust your captions settings:
1. Click
Captions and select
Captions
Settings.
2. Adjust the following settings as needed:
Text Color |
Update the caption text color as needed. |
Background Color |
Update the caption’s background color as needed. |
Window Color |
Update the window color as needed. |
Text Opacity |
Select whether the text should be opaque (solid) or semi-transparent. |
Background Opacity |
Select whether the text background should be transparent, opaque, or semi-transparent. To hide the background, select transparent. |
Window Opacity |
Select the caption window color and whether it should be transparent, opaque, or semi-transparent. To hide the window, select transparent. |
Font Size |
Reduce or increase the font size as needed. The range is from 50-400%. |
Text Edge Style |
Update the text edges as needed to make the captions easier to view. The default value is None. |
Font Family |
Update the caption font as needed to drop-down list. The default is Proportional Sans-Serif. |
3. Click Update. If you want to return to the default values, click Reset.
