Schedule Move to Recycle Bin

Automatically moving presentations to the Recycle Bin helps to manage storage space usage on Mediasite. 

To schedule an action to move a presentation to the Recycle Bin:
  1. On the presentation’s properties, click Edit Details > Actions. Click Schedule new Action.
  2. Select Move to the Recycle Bin from the Action drop-down list.
  3. Specify when the action should be done.

Relative Date

In the Relative From drop-down list:

  • Select Upload to have the action occur a certain amount of time after a presentation’s content uploads to Mediasite.
  • Select Last View to have the action occur a certain amount of time after a presentation was last viewed.

In Relative Offset, specify the amount of time.

Exact Date

Select Exact Date and use the calendar to select the date, if you want the action to occur on a certain day.

  1. Click Add New Action.
  2. When you have finished your updates, click Save.
