Before you begin installing and configuring Transcode Service software, make sure all systems meet the following requirements:

You will install the Transcode Service
software on a machine separate from Mediasite Video Platform. If the machine is
within your organization’s firewall and you are using FTP for file storage,
configure the firewall to allow passive FTP transmission between the service and
Mediasite Video Platform.
