You will install the OCR Service software on a machine separate from Mediasite Video Platform. If the machine is within your organization’s firewall and you are using FTP for file storage, configure the firewall to allow passive FTP transmission between the service and Mediasite Video Platform. 

 The OCR worker service relies on the operating system’s available languages.  You can add additional languages using normal operating system configuration. See the documentation for the machine you are installing OCR on for more information.
