Use Management Portal to add Adaptive Live Push servers that stream live video using the Mediasite Deliver Streaming Services (MDSS). These servers use Push distribution, which means the Recorder pushes the stream to the media server and does not make a connection from the server back to the Recorder.
Mediasite Deliver supports HLS using
fMP4 segments. HLS allows your users to view presentations on Apple iPod or
iPad.
To add an Adaptive Live Push server:
1. Click Recording > Content Servers > Add New and enter a name and description that will help you and other users identify the server easily.
2. Select Adaptive Live Push as the Server Type.
