When you set a system message, all users will see it when they log into Management Portal. For example, when you are making updates to Mediasite system, you can set the system message as, "System currently undergoing routine maintenance." Unlike other messages in the Portal, users cannot close system messages.
To set a system message:
1. Click Settings > Server Settings> System Message and specify the title for the message and the message as you want it to appear in the Portal. Click Save.
2. When you no longer want to display the system message, come back to this page, click Clear message.
3. Click Save.
