Locate presentations in a channel using the search feature. The search engine will search through the following presentation metadata and content, if available, for the search terms you specify:
• Presentation titles • Descriptions • Slide text • Annotations |
• Comments • Categories • Modules • Playlists |
• Captioning • Presenters • Tags |
To locate presentations in a channel using the search feature:
1. Enter a phrase in the search field. As you type, options will begin to appear in a drop-down list. If you see the content you are seeking, select it from the list.
2. If you do not see the content you are seeking, hit the Enter key when you have finished typing to go to the Search Results page where you can sort the search results as needed and navigate through them to find your content.
3. Once the search results appear, you can sort your search results by relevance, date, or title.
4. Click
the Timeline Hits button to review search results found
within the presentation’s slide text
and video (closed captions)
.
5. Click a listed search result to go to that point in the presentation.
Channels search results
Presentations with comments meeting the
search criteria appear in the results. However, you will not see any indicators
showing these results. Also, channels and presentations have varying
configurations so some features described here may not be available on your
system.
