Use the search bar to locate presentations or channels in Showcase. You can also use the search bar on the left side of the All videos page, All channels page, or specific channel page to search and filter within a specific type of content.
Showcase’s search engine will search through the following presentation and channel metadata and content, if available, for the search terms you specify:
• Presentation titles • Descriptions • Slide text • Captioning • Channel name • Channel description

Showcase search results

Filter your search results by Content Type or Category. By default, all pages except the All channels page search within videos. Click Reset Filter to clear the search field and search results. |

Sort your search results by relevance, date, or title. |

Preview the presentation. |

Review search results within slide text. Click a listed search result to go to that point in the presentation. |

Review search results within audio. Click a listed search result to go to that point in the presentation. |

Review search results within annotations. Click a listed result to go to that point in the presentation. |

Hover over a presentation to view additional information. You may have search hits within the description. |
Showcases have varying configurations and themes so search results may appear different than what you see here.
Using advanced search
Use advanced search options to sort through results based on a variety of criteria including a presentation’s metadata, date types (such as when a presentation was recorded), and date ranges. Combine search filters to narrow down results to avoid unwanted search results.
To use advanced search in Showcase:
1. Click Browse All Videos on your Showcase home page.
2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the search bar.

3. Enter your query into the search bar.
4. Select one or more of the following search filters:

Select this option to return search results found only in tags associated with presentations. |
5. Optionally, select a Date Type from one of the following:

7. Click Search to fetch results.
