Live broadcast

Live broadcasts are presentations that are available for viewing as they are being recorded. Before you begin recording, it is always a good idea to do a test run to ensure everything is working correctly.

To record a live broadcast:

1.  Create or schedule a presentation on your Mediasite.

2.  Connect capture devices to the Recorder..

3.  Select input devices in the Recorder interface. 

4.  Connect Recorder to the network. Typically, the RL Recorder will already be connected to a network.

5.  Connect your Recorder to Mediasite. If you do not know the credentials, contact your Mediasite administrator.

6.  Open the presentation and begin recording.

  You can create presentations using a schedule occurring hours, days, weeks, or months in advance of the live broadcast. You can also create presentations manually. For more information, see the Content Manager Guide available on the Customer Care Portal.
