When you are monitoring a Recorder (have it open in a monitor window) its status updates in real-time. Otherwise, Recorder statuses update every 30 seconds.

Mediasite Monitor cannot access the Recorder. This occurs when the Recorder is off or if there is an SSL issue due to an invalid certificate. To turn the Recorder on, send a wake request. If there is an SSL issue, launch the Recorder interface and accept the certificate. |

Downloading |
Recorder is in the process of downloading and applying a software update. Record is disabled until the update is complete. |

Recorder is opening a new recording session. |

Recording |
Recorder is recording a presentation. |

Stopping |
Recording session is ending. |

A recording session is now beginning or resuming after being paused. |
