Software versions: Join 3.2
You will use Mediasite Join to record and stream calls on your Join Appliance (SL245-R1 Recorder) and then upload the video conference call content to your Mediasite Video Platform.
This guide describes how to configure the Mediasite Join software and connect your Join Appliance hardware. It will also demonstrate how to make calls using Join and your videoconferencing bridge of choice. Mediasite Join records, streams, and uploads video conference call content to your Mediasite Video Platform.
Audience
The intended audience for this guide is someone familiar with telecommunications concepts, such as how to configure a video conference client and call strings. This person should also have experience configuring SQL databases and a working knowledge of Mediasite. If you do not have the appropriate experience, find someone who does to configure Mediasite Join.
