Mediasite allows you to customize your presentations by adding watermarks/logos. Watermarks are also useful for “blacking out” sensitive information in your presentation. You can add a watermark to portions of a presentation, an entire presentation, or to multiple presentations.
To add a watermark to a presentation:
1. In the timeline, select the portion you want to watermark by clicking and dragging, or "scrubbing" the timeline cursor.
2. Click Ctrl+M (Command+M on Mac). The selected region will be shaded and the word “Watermark” displayed.
3. Click the down arrow at the top of the watermark selection, select Choose watermark, and select the image you want to use as your watermark. The image will appear as an overlay in the left video preview window.
4. Click and drag on the watermark in the preview window to position it as you would like it to appear in the video. As you move the watermark, you will see its current coordinates. You can only position the watermark within the preview area.
5. To resize the watermark image, click and drag any point on the border of the watermark. When you do this, you will see the current size will appear in the middle of the watermark.
6. To resize the watermark and maintain aspect ratio, hold the Shift key while dragging one of the watermark corners.
7. Once you are satisfied with your changes, save your changes
8. If you have a presentation with multiple video streams, you can add a watermark to each stream. Open an editor session:
• If you did a Commit to Current, open a new editor session (Projects > New Project).
• If you did a Commit to New or Commit to Existing, open a session on the committed presentation.
9. Within the new editor session, the previously applied watermark is visible in the left video preview window. Select the second video stream as the left video source (Video Source > Left (Video + Audio) > Video 2) so that it is displayed in the left video preview window.
10. Add a watermark to the video stream in the same manner described in steps 2-6. Once you are satisfied with your changes, save your changes.
11. If you want to add the watermark to additional streams, repeat Steps 8-10.
