When you delete a user profile, you have the option of retaining the user’s content. When you choose this option, Mediasite saves the content in a folder (under Mediasite Users) that includes the user’s name and a system generated identifier. You can retain this folder as an archive folder, or you can move the content to another user’s folder.
By default, when you delete a user profile Mediasite sends the user’s content to the Recycle Bin. You can restore content in the Recycle Bin until you permanently delete it from the system. However, you cannot restore deleted user profiles.
To delete user profiles and retain users’ content:
1. Click Security > Profiles, select the check boxes next to the user profiles you want to delete.
2. Click Delete. When the confirmation message appears, clear the Recycle content for selected profiles check box.
