Add roles from trusts  

When a remote site has established an inbound trust on your site, you can import roles from the site that originated the trust relationship. You will assign folder permissions to these roles in the same manner you will other roles.

To add roles from a trust:

1.  Click Security > Roles > Add New > Add From Trust and specify the search parameters:

Select the trust you want from the drop-down list.

Name

Select the type of role you are seeking and specify how you want to search for the name: Starts with, Is exactly, or Contains. Enter the name you are searching for in the adjacent field. If you want to display all names in the directory, keep the field blank.

 

2.  Click Search. The entries fitting the search criteria will appear below.

3.  Select the check box next to each item you want to add as a role and click Import.
